Hi there,

Has anyone had any experience in researching accommodation in Limassol? My husband and I will be travelling in April/May period to visit family but only staying for 6 days. Everything we look at is either very expensive or very cheap, and bad reviews. All we want is decent, clean accommodation, that is at the beach front does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
Evange :)

I flew to Cyprus 18 months ago and one of the locals booked me into the Palm Beach Hotel at Larnaca. When I checked various reviews, I got confused by the mixed reports. After staying there for 7 days , I had nothing but praise for this hotel. Certainly not the best I have stayed in, but met my expectations in every way.

The local lady is a limo driver and takes passengers from the airport to all over the Island. I can ask her for a recommendation if you wish to let me know your budget, and whether you want 1 room, 2 rooms, hotel or appartment thats self catering.etc. you can reply here or PM me.

I stayed at the Le Meridien a few years back in Limassol and found it to be excellent - I paid for the stay with my hotel points so I can't really opine on the value proposition. It has two pool areas which are excellent for relaxing and great facilities and it's in a great position, although a little way from the town.
