Hi all, with the upcoming AMEX devaluation, I am looking to transfer my miles into Etihad Guest (hoping for more award availability in terms of seats per flight relative to Cathay & Avios).
I am wondering, does anyone have past experience or information regarding the likelihood that Etihad will release at least four business class award seats in their ‘value’ or ‘comfort’ fare categories for Australia to Europe in mid-December 26.
I have been monitoring availability for a few weeks and they seem to be consistently releasing at least four award seats each day leading into the start of December - the most recent availability I have seen is the 26th of November. But of course I am unsure whether this is likely to continue - I am thinking they may release less seats during the December period.
