Likelihood of aircraft change BNE - HKG and HKG - JFK

Hi all,

Currently booked on CX in early 2020 and note that BNE - HKG morning flight is on A330 and HKG - JFK is on 777 ER.

Curious if anyone is aware of any plans by CX to change aircraft on these legs to A350?

I don’t think CX has any plans to change its aircraft types on those routes. You’ll almost certainly get the 777-300ER on HKG-JFK. I guess there’s a chance they could put an A350 on BNE-HKG, but no plans have been announced.

Are CX expanding their A350 fleet? otherwise where would they reposition them from?
