Life Time Gold - The [Realistic] Holy Grail

If anything were to happen, then this is probably the one that matters:

3.2 Qantas Loyalty will use best efforts to advise Members of material changes to these Terms and Conditions and, where such changes will limit Benefits:

(a) where the Benefit is provided by Qantas, to give Members at least three months notice;
.
The same best efforts that provided a full monthā€™s notice last year of the changes to QP guesting rules? Not a great precedent.

For me LTG (achieved before COVID) has meant going to other networks because LTP is an impossible dream.

From a marketing perspective to me it seems counterintuitive.

On MEL-SYD the other day in J, the FA came to my partner and I and discreetly offered us first choice from the lunch menu. Nice to know that even as a lowly LTG it's still possible to outrank everyone else in the business cabin :cool:
@opusman we were treated to a "glass" of wine, then bottle on disembarking, Screenshot_20240313_094949_Gallery.jpgby the CSM as SG (may have been the Ferrero Rocher gift given to crew as thanks - without any expectations.)

They were an exceptional crew to all pax on QF879.

I imagine the question of what 'material' actually means, would come into play on that one... I know a number of people were irritated by a change to what type of guest you can bring in, but shifting the goalposts on something like lifetime status would impact a much larger group, in much broader ways, even with grandfathering of existing LTG memberships.

They are more likely to change things to require more spend per SC going forward than to increase the number of LTSC needed to earn LTG.

I am still years away from LTG on my current flying trends.

If I identified as one, I am sure the extra bling would only add to your alure :D

Congrats!

I came to the conclusion it helps with the ladies as I can't fathom who else @JohnM is attractive to PJM. She's a lovely lady and I haven't noticed anything obviously wrong with her. So can only assume its the LTG status JohnM has that makes him attractive :)
