Does anyone know what the legroom in 23AB is like on the refurbished A330-300s? The old birds had pretty coughpy legroom in the bulkead row and I found them too restricting. I believe 24JK has massive amounts of legroom on the refurbed birds but has the legroom in 23AB increased compared to the non-refurbed birds? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Not much different than pre-refurb at all imo. I flew HKG-BNE last week and sat in 23A. I'm 6'2" and I was pretty cramped even when I reclined. That said, I found it a) better than having someone in front who could recline into me and b) handy to be able to climb out and not disturb your seat mate in 23B on the aisle. I'd sit there again if Row 45 was not available. (I had 45J and K to myself on the MEL-HKG flight earlier in the week).

Just bear in mind that the bulkhead row seats are where your seat selection is most subject to be substituted. This can occur if a number of infants are on the plane.

Also factor in the reduced seat storage, and the fact that some passengers will use your leg area to cross between aisles...

Not for the AB and JK seats of the A330. No bassinet position there. No crossing aisles in those seats either.

The leg room isn't bad for a sitting/day time/ awake flight. But, if you're tall, and you need to stretch your legs when trying to sleep, it's really horrible.

Oh yeah missed that AB bit. You're not likely to get turfed out of those by a baby unless they are trying to seat a large family together.

You our do still have the issue of limited seat storage for your shoes, headphones etc, and from memory the ovehead lockers at this location are half sized?

One of the exit row seats in economy has devastatingly small legroom due to the door.. :(

On Dom A330 flights I always select 23A because the door is just in front and can stretch my legs on it, very comfortable.
Assuming 45K would be similar on A330 Int.

Thanks for the replies. That's a shame that the legroom in row 23 on these refurbished A333s haven't increased. Was seated in a refurbished A332 last year and the legroom in row 23 had significantly increased compared to the old birds.

Not the best seats to have allocated when aircraft is substituted to an A330-200? Luckily I checked the booking and think they put me in 24J. Moved over to 24G which is bulkhead but doesn't appear to be bassinet.

I really do hate all these A330 variants.

I had 23k for QF29 last year to HKG EX MEL.. old version.. I didn't enjoy it compared to CX

Row 23 will be a no-go for me then. Don't mind the seat in front reclining but really hate not being able to stretch out my legs!
