Lay Flat Beds on US airlines within the US & Canada

I dunno - I'm in two minds about the QF experience transcon... I'd probably opt for AA's 321 with single seats in a reverse herringbone configuration. And the 321 comes with guaranteed flat beds.

Not quite. AA has 212 A321s. Only 17 have the F/J flat bed transcon config and they are only used for SFO and LAX-JFK and some random short sectors out of JFK to BOS and DCA.
Transcon flights like LAX-BOS, SEA-JFK etc do not have flat beds on AA.

Indeed. I was directly comparing the route offered by QF (LAX-JFK) with the AA offering on the same route. AA's 321 on that route have flat beds, the QF version is variable with some seats suffering from 'droop'.
