Hello all you frequent flyers out there,

A quick little question, does anyone know at LAX if you can pass security using a boarding pass from a flight departing from another terminal? For example:

If someone was a Delta Sky Club lounge member had 4-5 hours to kill and instead of using the Alaska Airlines Lounge for a flight departing from Terminal 3, wanted to head next door and use the Air France lounge at Terminal 2 or Delta Lounge in Terminal 5 to kill some time, use better facilities (eg. shower). Would it be possible to get through security screening, enjoy the other lounge, then head back out to the terminal that the flight is departing from?

Thanks in advance.

No - that's the short answer.

If you wanted to visit the lounge in another terminal to that which you have a boarding pass for....

- you need to have a meeting room booked at the lounge;
- the lounge needs to pre-forward a list of names to TSA.

That's the long answer.

Thank you for the reply.
I thought that would be the case, just wanted to clarify.
Taking into account V Australia only open check in 3 hours early, it would be time consuming going through two security checkpoints anyway.
They take so long in the USA, missed a flight in ORD once because the security line between an hour and hour 1/2 to clear.

Wow i've never had security take that long. Immigration at LAX yes, but not security.

With the exception of November 2001, where LAX T3 security averaged 3 hours!!
