For day trip out of Darwin, Lichfield is ideal. It's not as far as the other National Parks which need overnight stays to do them justice.

I can highly recommend Rob of Ethical Adventures. They also have good reviews in Trip advisor. We had great day out in a small gropup.

Mendil beach market is on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Food, arts and sunset on the beach.
