Last minute Europe trip

Hi Everyone,

I'm wanting to visit Europe before uni goes back in late February. I'm looking for a cheap flight to any European Airport from Sydney. An open jaws light is preferred.

Date range: From early January to late February.

The cheapest flight I have found is SYD - CDG IST - SYD for $1550 on MH.

I also have a throwaway ticket to Bali which I bought for $120 a few months back. That leaves on the 14th of January. Maybe that could be incorporated, with a flight out from DPS?

The price you have found with MH isn't bad, especially booking this late. But I think I have found better.

If you can use the flight to Bali on 14 Jan, then you can continue on to Europe from there. Have a look at doing a multi-city booking with Eithad.

Leaving on 15 Jan, I can find this itinerary out of Singapore for SGD1137 ($1059 with today's exchange rate):



As you can see, there is also another option via KUL on the way over with better connections for an extra $60.

Then you just need to get from DPS to SIN on the 15th. I can see a couple of Air Asia flights for $75.

$1059 + $75 + $120 (for the Jetstar flight) = $1254... although you have already paid for the Jetstar flight anyway, so we could probably leave that out. So, all up you would save over $400 with this itinerary.

If you wanna live it up a bit QR have excellent J prices out of DPS to European cities like CDG etc
