We are flying (VA) to Las Vegas for a week in early November. Have checked current hotel prices but have yet to decide at which one to stay.
Ballys has been highly recommended to us, but open to any other suggestions re good value hotels with a max. of AU$100 per night.
Should we book at this time, or wait until about a week before we arrive in Vegas?
Has anyone had experience of "the $20.00 Sandwich Trick"?
Thanks in anticipation.....

Imperial Palace in the centre of the strip seems very good value. For my trip end of Dec, I got rate of usd33. For the same period, Bally's was usd68. Source Expedia.com.

You will find most properties charge a resort fee. The following link shows those that don't charge such fee:

Hotels Without Resort Fees- Las Vegas Resort Fees

Both Imperial Palace and Bally's don't charge resort fee.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Absolutely! The $50 Sandwich works even better for a suite/penthouse. Search on google and you'll find sites dedicated to scoring the hotel upgrade wins etc...
