Laptop power onboard advice

After many hours of searching I have managed to find a OW award RTW in J over december-january. The one catch remains that I cannot find LAX-SYD in J in January and have AA LAX-NRT and *class NRT-CNS wish I can put up with. The main flights are listed below (all in J)

BA 10 SYD-BKK
CX 713 BKK-SIN
QF 31 SIN-LHR (I know this is ok with aussie plugs)
BA 852 LHR-PRG
BA 275 LHR-LAS
AA 169 LAX-NRT

The main issue is do I need an empower adaptor or can I get away with UK/US adaptors?

I know CX have empower from memory.

I haven't used it but from memory I could find the empower ports on the A333, B773 (regional) and A343 models that I have been on.

BA Old J have empower

How can you be sure of what you are going to get - new/old?

FWIW, when I've flown CX with empower in seats, they've had adaptor kits on board, and I always have managed to borrow for use in flight.

Check the seat maps on the CX website
