Looks like a loss of separation with ground traffic and the pilots have passed. Pretty high energy impact. IMG_0720.jpeg

Geez, must have been some impact? How the heck does that even happen. Looks like it happened on a turn, so surely it wasn't going that fast?

Maybe the accident occurred as they were coming off at a Rapid exit taxiway, and/or the accident cause the aircraft to swing around.
The RET possibly is F and the accident with the truck occurred on the runway at the junction of the runway at E/F or just as the aircraft tried to turn off the runway
Suggestion is that the truck was cleared to cross at D

ATC recording here:
Sounds like the truck though it was at D.

Did ATC previously tell the truck to hold short of RWY4 at D?

Doesn’t make much difference whether it was D or E
It appears there were more than one truck - "truck and company" and ATC approved RWY crossing in front of the Jazz express (accident aircraft)
.....

Possibly the aircraft JZA646 had just landed or about to land when approval given for the more than one truck to cross the runway.
Screenshot at the time when approval given to cross - relative to the position of the aircraft.
If crossing at D (as intended?), the impact may have been worse as the aircraft speed would have been higher.

That is just shocking, how can anyone up the front even remotely survive that.

Might in the investigation?
It will be.

Sequence of events (as much as is known)

- "JAZ646" was somewhere about touching down on Runway 04
- When ARFF Truck 1 (and company - meaning more ARFF trucks or other vehicles following) requested permission to cross (the active) Runway 04 at D
- Tower gave Truck 1 & company permission to cross runway 4 at D
- Jaz646 exited the runway at F and collided at a speed of about 40km/h with either Truck 1 or another ARFF truck that was following

That seems to be about all that is reasonably known at the moment.
