Not many details here, I wonder how far along she was. MH's policy says preggos are allowed to travel up until the 35th week of pregnancy. I find that astonishing! It's surprising in a way that this sort of thing doesn't happen more often.

Bali's Ngurah Rai airport managers Angkasa Pura and Herry A.Y. Sikado said flight MH135 from Kuala Lumpur to Brisbane requested a priority landing on Friday because the pregnant woman was "about to give birth".

I understand she was 24 weeks pregnant with no complications thus far. She did give birth but I understand the infant had died prior to birth.
