My Jetstar flight home (KUL-SIN) on Monday morning got me 900 QF points, 10 SCs, and the glitch in the system gave me 2x meals and a $5 voucher from the plus bundle. Not a bad return.
 
Is the 2016 lounge run been set at all. I see $600 return to HKG on sale with QF.

Last I heard was Tokyo for cherry Blossom, which isn't June.

Might lock in a special trip just for myself, and hope it links in.

We were thinking of Easter for cherry blossom which would be about the right time.

However that still doesn't answer the June long weekend lounge crawl location question.

2013 SIN
2014 HKG
2015 KUL/SIN

I reckon we should head back to HKG? The current sale with QF (thanks for the reminder medhead) makes it very tempting, although only a day to book at those prices! :shock:

I spend a short while in the new Pier F lounge recently, and would be keen to get back there. I have also yet to get to the JL or EK lounges.

Thoughts?
 
NRT cherry blossom would be quite expensive? and how many lounges to crawl there?
 
While I can't guarantee I will attend, I think HKG is a good choice. Easy for people to get to, frequent sales, large variety of lounges.
 
Easter next year is right around SWMBO's birthday. Not that I matter in determining what to do, but I'd probably have more chance to make June long weekend in HKG. The large range of lounges in HKG is also a bonus.

I think Easter needs to be regarded as a bonus weekend if it happens.

I am still debating if I should put some Amex SQ points to good use. ;)

So that seems to be 3 votes in favour of HKG ...
 
Is the HKG BA lounge reopening any time soon? HKG can be interesting with a couple of refurb'ed lounges (Pier J planned to reopen Q2 2016). Some of the CX lounges would have a new caterer as well (Peninsula being replaced).

In any case, I would be out for Easter, as the Sunday is my SWMBO's birthday so definitely no leave pass for that weekend.
