Flew in from ADL on the 6.15am flight (UGH) 20th August with a connecting flight to CNS - only 30 minute window so they wouldn't book me on that flight which meant a 5 hour layover in BNE - got to BNE 15 minutes early and went to the service desk - helpful guy said oh you have luggage hang on - rang down and asked for my luggage to be taken to baggage services instead - went down there - another helpful man who found my case - then to the assistance counter who checked my bag through and got me on the earlier flight - just enough time to get to the club for a quick drink and then boarding - so thanks to everyone concerned - also my first JASA for the status points - thanks to the collective wisdom on this forum
