Hello,
I'm currently with KrisFlyer, QFF, Enrich (just burnt all points for J travel recently) and velocity. Currently sitting on about 65,000 points with QFF, 50,000 with KrisFlyer (burnt a few for J class travel also) and about 1,600 points with Velocity.
Currently have the WSQ Plat CC and ANZ Qantas Plat CC. However, use the WSQ cards as main cards, and will ditch the ANZ ones soon as the cost is quite high against benefit for me, as no business payments etc to put on it.
With the NAB Velocity Premium CC sign up at 40,000 points and only $150pa I'm considering cancelling all cards and just using them an putting points in to Velocity, as they have the benefit of not expiring after 3 years, unlike KrisFlyer and Enrich.
I would just like people's opinion and experience on Velocity for points redemption compared to KrisFlyer and experience with Virgin for medium and long haul flying to that of SQ. Most of my international flights (Europe and Asia) have been with SQ and MH, with QF and Emirates (have points with them I think too) for single Sth Africa trip and single Middle East trip. Domestic, comes down to QF and VA based on cost.
I know I can earn more Velocity or QFF points the SQ based on not only CC spend, but with mobile phone, restaurants etc. Or do i stick with QFF and ANZ cards as have benefit of shopping and fuel points with EDR card too.
Thoughts?? The $150pa compared to $250 and $295 for same "inclusive insurances" is a fair price deifference.
