Krisflyer miles crediting from partner flights

Hi team! quick easy question as im new to krisflyer and virign after swapping from qantas. searched but didnt find an answer.

flew on a virgin flight per-syd last fri the 24th and back on the 26th, just in F class, i received the miles into my krisflyer account from the per-syd flight (DJ564) on the 26th aug so only a 2 day turn around. I have not had the miles from DJ569 return leg on the 26th credited yet. i know singaporeair says it can take up to 4 weeks for miles to be credited.

Just want to know from others how quickly you receive your miles usually from DJ to your krisflyer account? Also is it odd that on a return trip you get your first leg credited so quickly but then a delay on your return leg??

that certainly sounds unusual. There is a form to lodge on the SQ website.

was your KF number on your original BP. Keep boarding pass if you still have it.

SQ is a full servicve airline and will track it down when the time comes.

That is strange. You can fill the retroactive claiming of miles form found in the krisflyer websit. Post it to SQ alongwith the original boarding pass and your miles should appear in less than week. i would keep a copy of the boarding pass before sending the original.

unfortunatley i dont have the boarding pass my krisflyer number was on the booking thus why the first flight has been credited. Just havent received the points from DJ569 yet.

Yes was going to fill in a claim form but it says a minimum of 6 weeks must have passed before i submit a claim, will providing my itinerary number plus flight number and class be enough? surely they can see i flew on the first leg as the points we credited to my krisflyer account so they must be able to tell i did take the return leg to get back home. Do they check with virgin to see if i checked in on the flight? or is it just a waste of time without my boarding pass?

i did notice however even though my i checked my krisflyer number was stil lon the booking when i checked in for DJ564 it was, after i had checked in i looked gaain and it was gone and i had to re-enter it for some reason..to play it safe. When i checked in for the return dj569 lfight i checked in without printing the boarding pass as i did not have a printer with me, so i got them to reprint it at the airoport for me, i notice your krisflyer number does not appear on the boarding passes, it didnt on dj564 either but i still go the points.
