I seem to flip flop between SQ Silver and Gold levels but I've just made Gold again.

Next week I am travelling VA from Port Moresby to Sydney via Brisbane and I presume my new Gold card wont have arrived by then.

Can anybody confirm I'll have access to a lounge at POM? and at POM and BNE what documentation do I need to take to make lounge access reasonably hassle free.

Thanks.

My understanding is that no VA passengers have lounge access in POM, as VA doesn't have a lounge nor do they enter into a contract arrangement. This was certainly the case when I last flew ex-POM on VA, albeit on a CG code-share.

In Brisbane, KrisFlyer Elite Gold members can access the VA domestic lounge as below.
KrisFlyer Elite Gold
Virgin Australia
Access the Virgin Australia lounges in Australia when departing on flights operated by Virgin Australia. You can invite one guest provided he/she is also departing on a flight operated by Virgin Australia.

If you don't have your SQ Elite Gold card, it may be hard to prove you are entitled to access.

Sometimes a screen dump of your account will work. On other occasions you can present your lower status card and politely explain that your status has recently changed and ask them to call the airline to confirm.
