KrisFlyer Call centre is beyond terrible

Yes my seat selection was what locked it up. Seat 1A and 2A now secured for our London run for the cricket next year.

It was Lord's or nothing for my wife so we might see you there. Tickets may be a stumpling block.

She has a similar opinion on flying suites after trying both SQ and the Etihad Apartments on our last trip.

We have a request in for seats thru our state cricket club where we have been members for many years. Last time we had really good seats even though Lords has a small capacity.

Interestingly I was able to see and book award availability online that the KF agents in SIN couldn't see.

There was no Suites availability according to the agents but it could be booked online. So I confirmed the 2 seats on Suites leg but because I couldn't do the mixed class award the KF call center had to add on the PER-SIN J leg manually with a stopover.

The miles required were initially an issue as they were pricing as one award but I think we have gotten there in the end.

Awaiting a call back with confirmation but at least there is a booking reference in my profile with confirmed seats on SIN-LHR and reserved PER-SIN so looks promising.

Apparently it is a public holiday in SIN today so they might not have the A Team there.

I had the problem of computer locking up when I tried to book this morning.Finally got through to payment and the usually unreliable government IT systems performed as expected and crashed.
Called the Krisflyer Sydney number.Wait ~ 1minute.Everything fixed in ~ 2minutes.

Last night I had big help from the Kris Flyer call centre in Singapore.
My son has a girlfriend whose name is more than 26 letters. I put the full name from her passport into my redemption nominees.
Go to book her flights and 26 is the limit of name in the online booking engine so I cannot proceed.
The Kris Flyer call centre handles it for me efficiently even though it is a school holiday period.
I was totally impressed.
