Hello I am new.
My wife and I have 21346 points each as well as our two children. Any way to combine the points?

Secondly I have 29,000 amex points that can be transferred to kris flyer miles? (or Qantas)

I also have 186000 qantas points any ideas to combine to get the best bang for my buck?

Thanks Scott

Welcome Scott

You can't combine your Kris Flyer points (unfortunately).

AMEX points, you need 2:1 for Kris Flyer 1:1 Qantas, so Qantas may be better value.

With the number of QF points you have you could go many places, depends on where you want tog, what class you want to travel etc. You will generally get better value if you book before the program changes on 25th May (unless you are going short distance economy class).

There are many useful links in Lindsay Wilson's Ultimate Guide for Qantas for QFF info.

Cheers

Maybe better value using as QF, but could still be worthwhile using as KF miles.

21k Kris Flyer miles doesnt get much, but 50k opens up more places for awards. As Kris Flyer miles expire after 3 years it may be worth transfering Amex points so that the total can be used.

In general it is a good idea to only transfer when you know what you want to use the points for (unless the exchange rate is expected to change for the worse).
