Hi .

I understand that Kris Flyer miles expire.
I have some that seem to expire April 2007.
Does this mean I need to make a booking which uses them before April 2007 or that I must have physically travelled , have used them , before April 2007

thanks for the help.
I have been unable to get through on the phone.

...and you can travel after then, up to a year.

You can also extend them for a fee;)

As kpc mentions you must book before the miles expire but have up to 12 months later to travel. A friend of mine had some Kris Flyer miles with expiry in Sep 2006 and Sep 2007.

Back in Jun 2006 we booked a flight with Air NZ for SYD-AKL-CHC//AKL-SYD for travel in Jan 2007. Kris Flyer held the booking until Sep 2006 when we finally confirmed it and payed for taxes and surcharges.

Note that should you need to cancel the award after the expiry date you totally lose the miles, unlike on some other FFPs.
