Anyone think it's worth downloading the new Singapore Airlines Kris+ app?

I thought about it but reading through the blurb if you wanted to convert your Kris+ miles to regular KF miles you have to do it within 7 days from the time they hit your K+ account. I'm not OCD enough to keep checking my account.

The T&Cs say the 2500 offer expires next week so presumably they’re hoping to announce before then

Only the first 2000 people to use Kris+ will get the bonus, I don't think I'll score any points in Mid-Dec when in Mel/Syd, but I hope this sticks around a while so I can boost the KF balance!

I tried paying with the kris+ app today and it's kind of annoying to use.

The merchant had to open the kris app on their tablet, I then had to find the merchant in my kris app, press pay, scan the QR code, manually enter the amount to pay, and then wait for the merchant to verify the payment in their app.

Not sure I'll be in a hurry to use it again without the bonus points offer.

I just received the bonus even though I wasn't expecting it given that my spend was in late December just before the offer expired

I’ve used the Kris+ app over a dozen times across three merchants. All have given me the discount but none have verified the payment as it should be done yielding Kris points at my end. Not too fussed, they’re pitiful amounts.
