Hi all

I'm looking to book KLM Amsterdam to Berlin in Dec. The price is 99 euro return or 174 one way. We only want to go one way - but I'm trying to work out if I can book a return fare and then just no show for the return leg.

The terms and conditions are below. From what I can gather we will pay additional charges if we don't show up for all legs, but are the charges just the 25 euro admin charge or something else?

What are the thoughts of the group of purchasing the fare on a credit card which is then closed between now and then - does that mean the airline cannot charge further charges if we no show?

Appreciate anyone's insight into this. Thanks

Buying a return often works out cheaper, and if this is not a regular event, there will be no ramifications. (If you started doing this on a regular basis, or putting your FF number against the booking, the airline may seek redress.)

Just on the credit card... even if you cancelled or closed the credit card the charge would still come on, and you would still be liable for it if it was a valid charge. Banks don't let you off legitimate charges just because it is closed. I don't know how likely it is you will be charged the 25 euro fee... I wouldn't ring to cancel - just don't show. See if they bill you.

if the account or card is closed the payment will be rejected .
