KLIA - is a 2hr transit between MH and SG doable?

Anyone been through KLIA recently and able to report on connection times / landing delays? I am flying J with both MH and SQ on seperate tickets going MLE-KLIA-SIN-ADL. I currently have just over 2hrs connection time between MH and SQ flights in KLIA. I believe both MH and SQ are in the same terminal although one may be satellite and one may be main terminal 1. It is 6 weeks away but I am stressing about this connection.

What do you think is the most viable option:
1 - See if MH J Check-in will check my bags through to SQ via their interlining agreement (best option, but apparently not always a given & I’m not sure what the staff are like in MLE)
2 - Travel with two rollaboards and a personal item, so I don’t need to collect luggage and re-check (this will be hard as im an overpacker, but may be doable)
3 - Buy a $50 flight from KLIA to SIN on MH, leaving 2 hours later, and forfeit the safety flight if I make the connection and if I do need the safety flight try to convince SQ to not cancel my whole flight back to AUS for missing the KLIA-SIN leg (risky IMO, but if I’m J perhaps they will still honor it if I get myself to SIN, plus $50 is not much as a form of ‘insurance’)

Any thoughts?

MH484 from MLE has a history of being on time so you might be ok.

Edit: actually if you land at the satellite terminal you still have to catch the train which eats up your precious one hour to make it by the check in deadline.

That is good if your flight is on time.
Our last 2 flights into KUL we have landed on time but no free gates so sat for ages on the tarmac waiting. Baggage has been a debacle the last few times too, I’m not sure why because it always used to be so good and by time we have got through customs and to the carousels our luggage was not far behind but the wait last time was horrendous

MH484 from MLE has a history of being on time so you might be ok.

Track the outbound flight MH485 just in case it's already running late

So the other factor here in this equation is how long your transit at SIN is. If there's enough buffer and the flights aren't 100% full, SQ may potentially offer to have you take the next SQ KUL-SIN flight if you're a bit late.

Option #3 doesnt work because the staff at KUL would mark you as a no-show and you wouldn't be able to hop on at SIN.
