KL to Singapore for the weekend - thinking of taking the bus(!)

Anyone think lounge operating cost was a factor in the retiming of QF32/2 or is that being too cynical?

No QF lack feed to/from the flight. Unlike many airlines they have never been able to (or never wanted to) make middle of the day departures from Europe work. There aslo used to be also a morning departure SIN-PER that provided customers for the lounge, which has been replaced by a redeye.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I bit the bullet and went with this...

Hmm, $90 return on 3K, including QFF points and SCs, at pretty reasonable times. Maybe I should just do that...and catch a bus if everything goes awry on the way back.

The times were perfect (leave KL late enough that I can do a full day of work and make it to the airport with hours to spare, return to KUL on Sunday night late enough to maximise the day in SIN). SCs, lounge access too and duty-free in SIN too. :D

Cheers
Febs.
