KF Upgrade Availability Check?

Is it possible to check SQ upgrade availability on EF? If so - could someone see if there's a Y to J single seat available on SQ246 on 1/2 and/or SQ632 on 2/2, and returning either SQ635 on 14/2 and/or SQ245 on 15/2

Went with SQ in the end in hope of an upgrade with KF miles (which I'll switch my Velocity miles for). Customer services confirmed upgrades available before i booked, and that whole trip would be 130,000 miles

So after booking, logged in and looked and upgrades are available for each leg, but they're gonna cost the earth :

BNE to SIN 140,250 KF miles!
SIN to HND 85,000 KF miles
HND to SIN 42,500 KF miles
SIN to BNE 140,250 KF miles

Total KF miles 408,000 (or 550,800 Velocity miles)

I will probably upgrade the HND to SIN leg on way home as its an overnight but can't justify the miles for the others

Kind of wish I had booked through Virgin now as was $100 or so cheaper (still both Flexi), and I would have got my 100% Plat bonus miles. On the plus side - apparently I can get two $40 vouchers at Changi which I can spend on duty free :)
 
I had a quick look just now. Looks like Standard awards only available those days. Morning and afternoon BNE departure on the 31/1 have Saver awards available.

You can consider checking back closer to departure in case Saver awards come available on your travel dates.

Thanks - out of interest - how were you able to check? Everyone I spoke to said only way to check was to phone up - which i did - but they gave me duff info

oops...I ignored the request to check via EF as I don't think that SQ is visible through EF.

I logged in Krisflyer account and just searched the itinerary the way you requested. (Actually at the moment I'm rarely logged out of KF as I'm sweating on 12 different waitlists over New Year weekend.)

From previous discussions in the forum, the upgrade inventory comes from the same inventory as award redemption.
