We weren't expecting too much in our week here when reading the reviews of Kalgoorlie restaurants but a couple surprised us.
First was the Prime West Grill at Rydges hotel.Basically chose this as we get a 25% discount on food. However we enjoyed our first meal there so went again. The first night Mrsdrron had the pasta with prawns, scallops and mushrooms. She really liked it.I had the Scotch fillet which came perfectly cooked medium rare as ordered.A very nice steak-
.
.
With a shared entrée of crocodile spring rolls and a bottle of SB our bill came to $111.
The second visit mrsdrron had a pork chop which she declared was the best she had ever eaten.I was able to taste it and agreed.I had the marinated lamb kebab. The lamb was slightly overcooked.Again our meal cost $111 for a shared soft shell crab entrée,the 2 mains and a bottle of SB.
.
.
So a recommended restaurant.
