We've booked to fly to Bali from Brisbane next Feb. I've booked plus bundles for both directions but I'm really confused with what I'm going to get. The flights are JQ47 and 46, direct 787 flights.

During the booking process the plus bundle comes up with earn 4000 odd QFF points and 40 SCs but the flight it details are domestic to Sydney then a flight from Sydney to Denpasar (and return). It shows no meal on the dom leg (of course), but a meal on the international leg. No mention of my direc flight.

As I kept going through the booking I was offered the chance to purchase a meal but JQ says elsewhere on their website that international flights include a hot meal so I declined. I was online chatting at one point as I booked and the CSR was not much help.

So - with a plus bundle do we get a meal on these direct 787 flights or just the $10 f&b voucher?

Also, does anyone have any idea what QFF points and SCs I will get? As SG with QFF, do I get status bonus points. No biggy if I don't, just asking.

cheers

pete

Plus bundles will get you points and SC's. For this trip as an SG you will get 40sc's and 6,825 points per sector (so 80sc's and 13,450 points total).

In terms of your meal, I grabbed this off the JQ website:

Food, drink and Jetstar inflight & reward vouchers.

  • A hot meal plus one hot and one cold non-alcoholic drink with each meal service. Beer, wine and spirits are not included and can be purchased separately. Passengers who would like to request a vegetarian meal can do so when booking.
  • Choose between Qantas Points and AU $25 Jetstar Flight Reward Voucher.

Cheers Shan Man. The meal thing was very confusing so thanks for confirming what I hoped. Points and SCs are good news. This is going to help me keep my status for another however long.
