Hi All,

I am just wondering if Qantas treat the broken flights the same as Virgin do?

ie: Syd >Cairns via Bne is treated as 2 sectors so i would earn 40 credits for the Bne leg and then 60 for the Bne>Cairns leg?

All info would be greatly appreciated.

If they have different flight numbers then they will earn separately.

I much prefer the QF FF mileage and status credit calculator than the VA one!
Under the QF system, you can string along 6 cities and keep track of the miles earnt and status credit earns too.
VA is only A to B.
NOTE though, that some partners, that the miles earnt and the status credits earnt, are a quarter or half of what you would earn if you fly with a QF flight number, even if its on the same aircraft! Flying on LA SYD - AKL, if its a QF flight number, you earn good after 06 Jun, but if you buy a cheapie ticket, on that LA plane, but with a LA flight number, you earn a measly quarter of the miles.
Worst and worst, the airline partnership gets these days.
On some fare, on VA and NZ, also the earning is a quarter.
Bah humbug!
