Customer left laptop on plane, JQ found it then it got stolen, minimal details and some reference to the new cusotmer guarantee, then news at the end that they have come good on compensation.

Airline finds missing laptop then loses it | News.com.au

While it does sound fairly factual, the news content seems to be that the airline only made good because it was brought to our attention, there is not dates or timeline for the event by which the reader can make their own judgements as to the service received!

Certainly bad that JQ seems to have"lost it" after it was found but then again the first mistake was by the passenger.now i have left books etc on planes but a laptop?Even with my CRAFT that doesn't happen.

Interesting how the original loser (pun intended!) seems to think SHE bears zero responsibility....

drron.. I'll match your CRAFT disease and raise you a "CRS" * Syndrome! And I haven't left anything like that on a plane either....

* It's the American version... "Cain't remember sh........."

It is all part of the 'It's not my fault' world that we live in these days. Nobody wants to accept responsibility for anything.

While it does sound fairly factual

And there is the problem with nonews. They usually get their "facts" pretty close. My gripe with them is the facts which they chose to include. Facts which sometimes have little to do with the case at hand (eg including JQ's new customer charter), or exclude facts, such as timelines, or what those 9 calls in two months where about. eg where they "have you found my laptop yet?", "why haven't you found my laptop yet", or "no I don't know what persona l responsibility means"

I personally can not see why something going onto a JQ aircraft, not under the responsibility of JQ staff, become the responsibility of JQ when it's left behind by a careless owner, especially as JQ at no time said they would take responsibility for said item.

I think No News has shares in Virgin :p

All they do is attack Tiger, Jetstar and Qantas... mmmmm

Even when Virgin has a serious safety scare that the other news groups run with, No News is very reluctant to join....

How soon we forget Ansett and who owned half of them, might explain the bias even after 10 years.
