JQ *C no longer in QF J?

I am looking at booking another PER-SYD-HNL rtn via the Jetstar Website when I noticed a disturbing note. "JQ 6583 Domestic Economy Fare"

Can anyone confirm if this is a new change? I searched the forum but found no mention of it. IF indeed true, I'm sure I would have heard noise about it on here.
 
Shouldn't be the case, should be in QF J, and the fare basis of D

EDIT: also what day you searching?
 
I was looking any day from 06/09 to 10/09.

Booking engine seems a little loopy too. It keeps trying to make me go PER-MEL-SYD-HNL-SYD-PER all JQ metal except SYD-PER. It is ignoring the JQ codeshare PER-SYD
 
I noticed this a week ago trying to get a booking to DPS using different Australia ports for departure. It appears the booking engine is geared up to keep you on JQ metal now.

I would be fine with that if they has *C on the Trans Con routes. (PER-MEL and PER-SYD). Other than that I still think PER *C connecting passangers should travel QF J :)

Not sure, But if you notice the booking engine shows not available for PER-HNL. I paste 1 example. But I can not find I day that I can get out on.

The ones I can fnd use a JQ codeshare across (but doesn't give any prices), and connect to JQ3. I guess if JQ4 went back to MEL they'd give you that coming back too.
 
The flights are there.. you just have to look very hard.

There are flghts say SYD-HNL but then you try to look PER-HNL for the same day and no such flight.

The stupid website only lets you move around 3 days at a time too. A flight SYD-HNL on J*Class will give you 280sc I believe, so maybe just book that and then some QF flights to SYD from PER.

It will only get you 320 instead of 440. And it will be a domestic flight if you find a J* one anyway from PER.
 
I would love to hear from anyone who has flown on a StarClass fare (not ODU) that has had a connecting domestic flight JQ Codeshare flight on QF in the last month of so. Was it J or Y seating on QF metal?
