Jetstar starclass and the QC

Hi,

Im flying jetstar in two weeks to Japan for a holiday and im flying starclass. What I would like to know is, travelling on starclass do I have access to the Qantas club?

Yes in SYD. Not sure about lounge arrangements in Japan though.

If you are a Qantas Club member you will be able to use the Qantas Club lounge in Sydney. if you are not a Qantas Club member then you are not entitled to access to the lounge. This access has nothing to do with flying in Star Class. Star Class does not include lounge access.

Some people have indicated that some Qantas Club lounges also permit access to OneWorld Sapphire and Emerald members when they are flying Jetstar,

"After check-in, StarClass passengers have access to the Qantas Club Lounge in Australia and at destination ports where available while waiting for their priority boarding."

The real issue is what lounge (if any) they have access to in Japan (I presume Nagoya or Osaka).

I am in the Asuka lounge now, I am flying on JQ18 tonight in Starclass and was given an invitation that was stamped Jetstar Starclass and the Lounge also has a Jetstar logo next the door as you enter.

I had access back last year to Louis Tavern at BKK due to travelling StarClass - My QF WP didn't cut it back then.

Now there's Qantas F and J lounges at BKK, it's not an issue.

The 2 times I have departed BKK on JQ 30, the F lounge has been closed.
