Hoping that the expertise of AFF can help me here.

To cut a story short, I recently booked a short notice JQ OOL-SYD flight. Since then however, I no longer have a need to travel on that date. I did book a Plus Bundle, at the time my motive was to get FF points for the flight but now I am relieved that it gives me some flexibility. However the JQ website has left me slightly confused.

The T&Cs state that Name and Time/Date changes are "Permitted upon payment of the applicable Fare Difference within Change Deadline."

I can't seem to confirm what the Change Deadline is.

Now it looks like I have to change to a specific JQ flight on the same route and can't hold an open booking. However, I do not have solid alternate plans for this booking. Am I limited to a single or limited number of changes or can I keep perpetually changing the flight till the flight is taken?

Any advise here is greatly appreciated

You should get unlimited changed (sj to fare dif and any fees)up to some 6/12 mths from date of booking.

If you know when you want to change your dates to, then simply go ahead and make the amendments. Otherwise, find another flight in the future with the same price, and then worry about it later.
