bet they're praying that it was a bird strike so they can avoid more negative press over maintenance.
Even if it was a bird strike, nonews wouldn't care, or they would forget to post that part of the article. Nonews are well known around here for omitting important details when they conflict with their agenda.
It was reported to have occurred just after the seatbelt sign was switched off. Not very common to find many birds at the type of altitudes where the seatbelt sign would normally be switched off. I know there have been reports of some very high altitude bird strikes, but its very rare.bet they're praying that it was a bird strike so they can avoid more negative press over maintenance.
definetely - at least they found a file photo of an a320 this time!
A bit harsh.I dont regard Medhead as a Nonews defender-more of a devil's advocate who makes sure we dont stoop to nonew's levels with some of our own comments which I do admit to having posted without thinking in the past-though I'm not going to point out to you that 1 occasionQue news limited defence by medhead in 3...2...1...
I can just visualise the copilot walking the wing with his extinguisher! :shock:The pilots informed passengers of the issue and turned around. A fire extinguisher also had to be used.
Ah so my second mistake!:shock:drron, I did mean it in a little bit of fun... A lot of what medhead says I do agree with (with exception to his defence of nonews), maybe I should have put one of these ->at the end just to show it was not meant as an insult...
