Quick question for all the brains trust here.

I have a flight from MEL-CHC tomorrow evening and I have attempted OLCI and been given a web travel document not my boarding pass.

I have no checked in bags when is the earliest I can get my boarding pass at MEL? Can I check in via a kiosk or counter for another flight?

Or am I restricted to waiting until 3 hours before?

According to what I have just read, JQ int flights check in need you to present id.
And collect your BP before check in closes.
**You can check in online for international flights, however in most cases you'll still need to visit the check-in counter at the airport to present identification, and collect your boarding pass before check-in closes**.
As is the blurb on their website.
Straight to gate it seems is only 3K inter Asia flights.
3 hours before flight, before that 3 hours, you will not find a JQ staff member/contractor.
You could try to go to another JQ counter, but the people checking in for that flight will in the queue for a long time, and you have to join them, if its that JQ int flight to SIN, then its not worth joining the queue.
