JetStar MasterCard - 50k Bonus

My card arrived the other day but not the Platinum I applied for, just the basic card. Oh well, still a few cheap points. Must have too many cards in my stable.
 
Got my card about a week ago, now I have 3 Macquarie cards, 1. Woolworths card, 2. Macquarie Platinum card, and now 3. Jetstar card.

They must like me as the same day I got my Jetstar pin in the mail, I got a letter for an increase in credit limit by $5000 and an invitation for a 0% balance transfer on my Macquarie Platinum for 9 months.

Pretty happy with Macquarie, even though a lot of people are not.
 
is it just the application process which is turning people off this card? or its really not that good.

New card and documents arrived in a shiny black envelope.
Noticed one end had been cut open. New card ordered.
 
Mine arrived today. Before I applied I did not take a screen shot of the 50k offer. Did anyone? Just incase I need to chase up the bonus.

Oh, it was spend 3k in 90days, wasn't it?

It was 3k in 60 days of card approval.
 
Okay I just got my 50k point bonus today. Card was activated on 28 May so took 3 weeks from start to get the bonus.

I hit the 3k spend in the first 3 days / month (was holding bills for this card). I also hold the Macquarie backed WW card which I'll be closing shortly and keeping this one.

So a very quick and easy process with this offer for me.
 
The card selector on qantaspoints.com states that 50,000 points bonus is still available for signups prior to 21 August but it doesn't get a mention on the Macqurie Bank page when you click through the Apply Now link. Not keen on applying if I won't get the bonus.

I'm not sure if the click-through website ever had the details of the promotion. Just give them a call to make sure

Thanks I'll do that and post the result.

A question for those that already have the card - I know that it won't give points on ATO spend but what about other government bills such as car registration, council rates etc?
