Jetstar 'bundle' to get QFF status and points?

Yes, when you select your flights you can add a bundle before completing your booking, but from memory not after the booking is made.
Thanks very much.....I needed to take my dummy booking one step further. BNE-CNS rtn for $178 with 30 QF SCs.......not too bad at all.

First time post in the JQ forum... I feel dirty already.

I flew MEL-DPS-MEL twice in the past month on regular HalfClass fares without the Max bundle. To my surprise, I found that all flights offered some 'interesting' entries in my activity statement. Is this secret squirrel club stuff or out in the open yet??

There has been some anecdotal evidence of JQ flights giving some funny results regarding SC's and points.

I did the same flight in J without a bundle and got the points and status credits too. I had posted a scathing review of the trip on Facebook and thought they have given me the points as a sweetner.

So now that you know that it wasn't a sweetener what happened on the trip?

Nothing bad happened. Was first flight on JQ 787 which Jetstar say is a an improvement. I actually thinks the J seat is a huge step backwards. The iron bar on the footrest digs into your feet after about an hour of flying. The Cabin is much smaller and the forward section of economy disembark before J which is annoying in Bali as the queues there more so slowly. The food was excellent though i must admit. Ive changed to AirAsia now as i find their seat really comfy. better then EK J seat too. Just a little less automated.

When you said scathing review I had my popcorn at the ready as I was expecting a saga of epic proportions.

My five personal of experiences of JQi comprising:

Star Class: twice 1 x OOL/NRT, 1 x BNE/HNL

Economy: 1 x BNE/DPS/BNE & 1 x HNL/BNE

I've seen more ferals on QF flights I've been on BNE/PER or DRW/BNE than all of the above where everyone has been well behaved and courteous. I'm kind of a bit surprised myself.

On the 787 into Narita, the Cabin Crew held the Y mini cabin back until 'business cabin' was empty.
Off topic - the lack of lounge access at NRT T3 is a letdown with JQi travel.

Anyone have any recent experience on how long Max bundle status credits are taking to post? I took some JQ flights 12 days ago and they still haven't posted. I've managed to avoid the cancer this year but in recent years found they would post within a few days normally so do I need to get onto QF or is it just taking its time these days?

From memory my points and SCs usually arrive in 1-2 business day. I'd probably start the ball rolling now by contacting QF and chasing those points.
