Jetstar Asia to shutdown on 31 July 2025

9V-JSX was flown to ASP yesterday. Wonder if the '3' in the new rego is a tribute to their 3K roots?

Report a few days back on airliners.net

Planespotters now shows the following 9 aircraft going to Jetstar:

X3B ex JSK - SIN
X3C ex JSL - SIN
X3D ex JSM - ASP 5/8
X3E ex JSN - ASP 7/8
X3F ex JSO - ASP 18/8
X3H ex JSQ - SIN
X3J ex JSR - SIN
X3L ex JSU - ASP 11/8
X3N ex JSV - KUL

That leaves for Network -
JSI - SIN
JSJ - SIN
JSX - ASP 25/8 (ex Tiger/ Scoot)
JSY - SIN (ex Tiger/ Scoot)

So seemingly the two oldest and the two possible oddballs (ex Tiger fitout) to Network.

Did anyone have any luck getting an (indirect) reroute? I had a SYD-SIN-CMB booked, QF J onto 3K.

I momentarily had the SIN-CMB moved onto UL in Y and it sat in my booking but it never ticketed because it failed MCT and I never followed up to maintain some flexibility while I sorted my plans but with travel in the next month I am looking to finalise it.

I’d like to try my luck going via BKK or CGK instead, so interested if anyone had anything like that.

I thought the 3K fleet was owned by QF and leased to 3K
Think a mix.
Of those that have hit the Aus register, X3F is owned by ACS AERO 4 BETA US, LLC, the others (X3D/E/L) are Qantas Airways Limited.

And remember Network Aviation is the same as Jetstar Aus, a fully owned Qantas Group subsidiary.

Only saying that as on the analyst call they said they had been all owned by QF.

I think what they meant was all are owned/leased by QF and then simply leased out to a said subsidiary.

The Tiger leather seats heading to Network will be the same as some of those VA hellships, I recall it was VNR and another.
