I must admit that the real reason I took this flight was to get access to the MEL QF Flounge before I dropped down to SG.
While most of us are fortunate enough to avoid flying Jetstar, I thought it might make for an interesting review since they do often offer great value flights and QF status can get you into the lounges which can help make the flight more tolerable. Having said that, I still don't have the stamina to do a proper long/medium-haul flight with JQ so I booked one of their MEL SYD legs. It's nice to get a wide body aircraft on a domestic route, going through immigration on both ends makes it a lengthy process.
It's a short flight in a LCC so there's not a huge amount of say, but I'd certainly recommend booking a seat in the front mini cabin if you are flying in Y.
