Jetgo continue to spread their wings and will commence flights from Brisbane to Hervey Bay and also from Hervey Bay to Melbourne (Essendon) from 21st July

BNE-HVB 10.10 - 10.40
HVB-BNE 17.10 - 17.40

HVB-MEB 11.10 - 13.40
MEB-HVB 14.10 - 16.40

Flights are 4 x weekly ( Su M W F )

Introductory fares

BNE-HVB $139 o/way

HVB-MEB $248 o/way

It has a tiny fleet. The delays and cancellations thread for it shows a lot of late flights, often one to two hours late, and sometimes worse.

It lacks spare aircraft as far as I am aware.

For BNE - HVB - BNE, the Queensland Rail Tilt Train would get my vote.
