Hi, got my first trip to NZ on the newish 737s coming up. Have selected row 4 but wondering if these seats have the PTVs - with the J-class 2 seats immediately in front, are PTVs in armrests? Difficult seeing the shared overhead screen from row 4, so wouldnt want to be stuck with this for 4hrs Mel-Akl.

Also, Ive been lucky to avoid international Y for a while - as a WP in int Y, can i reserve an exit row seat free of charge?

Thanks.

On our recent trip to Auckland on the new 737-800 the PTV's were in the arm rest but we didnt use them so cant comment on how good/bad they were but the seats are very uncomfortable...I am 6 ft 3 in and my back hurt for 4 hours !!!...We were comfortable in that the middle seat was blocked so my wife and I had ample room but really disappointed with the new seats:mad:

IMHO the new seats are great, really comfortable, nothing to be worried about in my opinion. I always grab a pillow and have a really good snooze :)

Row 4 my favorite too, although you can't watch movies gate to gate like everyone else as the PTV is in your armrest - but a small price pay for the loads of leg room!!

Have a great flight, the next gen 73H fleet is great.

Great, thanks for the advice - looks like we'll stick to row 4 - if we get a blocked middle seat even better!
