Hi all,

I know this is probably the wrong place to ask being the Australian Frequent Flyer forum but i figured someone here may be able to help me out.

I'm flying from Nassau to New York's JFK tomorrow 7/12 with a stopover in Fort Lauderdale.

Last week I flew QF93 connecting onto QF11 at LAX which involved me having to pick up all bags, clear customs, etc. before continuing onto JFK.

Is this the same deal when I arrive in FLL? Will I have to clear customs there and pick up my bags or will they be checked through and I will clear customs at JFK?

Thanks all!

I believe Nassau has a US C+I service so therefore once you've cleared that at Nassau, you are "in" the US so you should be able to through-check your luggage.

Yes Nassau is a preclearance location so you walk off like a domestic flight.
