Does anyone know if I book a StarClass flight that includes a leg on a QF Metal flight SYD-Per, do I go in Y or J?

And do I earn points for Y or J?

Well when I flew on QF metal as part of a JetStar Starclass flight to Bali via SYD, we sat in QF business Class and earnt Business points and SC or the leg.

Thanks - not bad for $1500 ish then.. DPS-SYD-PER

cheaper than just the SYD-PER leg..

You are correct -

1. StarClass on QF Metal = QF Business Class

2. You earn J points on the flights too

I know of at least one that flew in QF Bus, but got creditted as a JetFlex (Y) fare.

Yes this has happened to me too. I rang QF and after a reasonable amount of chasing, they correct this to J points & SCs.
