Hi all, flying into Sydney international Jet Star terminal - need to transfer to Domestic jet star terminal for dom. flight to Brisbane, once you have cleared customs - can you transfer your luggage at the I/national terminal to your domestic flight??? We will have been flying *Class from Hawaii.
Read somewhere that you have to haul luggage on public bus to Domestic terminal!!!!
Cheers Jules:)

Correct, or use the train. If you have Virgin Blue status (Gold), they will transfer you at no cost.

Is there any other way...say using Qantas FF points that we can book in luggage at International terminal...would then only have hand luggage to take to domestic.
I note on another posting someone said with the train you have to use stairs.
We are 2 senior people & have some trouble negotiating stairs or steps on to buses with cases!!!
Cheers again Jules

The train stations are all served by lifts, to be frank its probably easier to transfer that way than try the International-Domestic transfer desk as it gets busy!
