Firstly, she should not have been using her tablet if she was the one supposedly flying the aircraft.

Secondly...both pilots could go to sleep, and the aircraft would simply fly the programmed track and maintain the current height. Plus, when and aircraft leaves the MCP altitude, an alarm goes off.

Upshot is that I doubt it would have done anything if not interfered with.
