Please just give a summary rather than promote YouTube links. I keep seeing this happen on multiple treads of late

What on earth is wrong with posting a YouTube clip? I use them all the time in my trip reports to show an occurrence or an event much better than I could describe myself.

It’s not just of late, they’ve been present for as long as I can remember. I saw the JH comment reported in the Fin. Review online but I’m glad to be able to hear her words for herself, especially as a Rampart subscription costs quite a lot.

I guess you haven't heard, one word is worth a thousand pictures (moving or not)

Wow.
Surprising.
Sad too in a way.
Crooked too in a way, seeing VA has got FB via Coles and VFF.
And we all thought JH left in a bad light.
Why is it sad? VA having Flybuys/Coles is irrelevant.
It has nothing to do with customers earning frequent flyer points; it's Endeavour corporate travel that will change who they fly with. Large corporates change their relationships with other corporates all the time. Particularly given this will save Endeavour 30% off their yearly travel bill. Good for their shareholders and absolutely nothing to suggest changes to the FF arrangement for customers.
It is a big win for Virgin Australia, however, getting another large corporate on board for staff travel.

Not any more:

It's only for internal staff travel.

Loyalty is still with QF through EDR.

How much staff travel is Endeavour doing? It's a pub and retail liquor group. It can't be much. Not compared to actual major corporates with thousands of travellers. I reckon Endeavour would be lucky to have 100 frequent travellers.

I was about to say that. It’s not a huge business. Travel would really be just Store Operations above store level moving around, or people flying into HQ. Most of that is now just done via Web Hangout’s anyway.

With Endeavour in cost cutting mode, I’d imagine they would be rather cautious in travel spend hence the contract change.

Aha.
Sorry, ... thought it was the earning of points side of the equation.
