Japanese Yen - Cash

any tricks, how do I make sure it uses JPY not AUD? did you just tap'n'go and withdrawal from ATM's as usual or did you have another linked card etc. Wouldn't mind throwing a few grand into JPY for a trip later this year given the 106/107 exchange at the moment
I usually only have most of the money in the currency I’m needing but according to t&c the local currency is what is taken first anyway.

The card wasn’t linked to anything. I also use this for transferring funds to UK family.

nice, really appreciate the replies -- curiously I wonder if I had the funds sitting there (in the JPY account) and I bought, for example prepaid Disney Tickets online using the Revolut card, will it default JPY given JPY merchant & JPY currency.
