ashleyn this was also what I was getting for a time - so frustrating. In the end I phoned JAL and they worked out for me flight times to and from Frankfurt with the stopover in Tokyo I wanted with connections that was within the limits of the flight deal - I had given up putting in multiple variations. The cheaper flights are only on selected days and times of flights. I also could not get a connection for the price from Brisbane (at least not within my span of dates - I had some flexibility) but going from Sydney I could so we will use points for the flights to Sydney and return.

Somethings not right. I just priced Sydney - Oslo and Helsinki to Sydney in PE. One leg was Economy and it quoted me over $29,000 AUD !!

That's quite clearly an error!:eek:

Have you tried searching in ITA Matrix?

Anyone know the sector limit for Matrix? Looking at pricing 10 sector trip.

It does that, especially if you take flights operated by others than JAL. I had the same for SYD-HEL next year: with all JAL in PE it came to $2,xx_ but when I swapped HEL-HND to an AY Y segment, it was $14K. Even JAL's own Y tickets often come to $6K each so you need to keep your eyes open and find the sweet spot in their pricing.
