According to Aeroroutes, Japan Airlines (JAL) on Tuesday 19AUG25 announced its planned international service changes for Northern winter 2025/26 season. Planned changes included Tokyo Narita – Melbourne eff 26OCT25 Increase from 6 weekly in NW24 to 7 weekly, 787-9

Questions:
When will the B787-9 compared to the currently operated B787-8 be likely available for booking on JP? Will this then open up bookings in premium economy as it's a B789?
If you're already booked on a B787-8 JP774 (MEL-NRT) in early April 2026, when will the updated seatmap show or does the B787-9 only operate until late March 2026 when the season changes?
Is it likely that JP51/52 HND-SYD-HND continue to be operated by a B773 in April 2026 or revert back to a B789? When would JP likely announce that change via Aeroroutes?
