Hey all - another question!
Looking at booking JAL HKG-NRT-HKG, and am just curious if there's a way to tell which fare bucket you are booking on their site?
The fare options given, along with the % of mileage accrual to JMB, are below (int'l):
* Japan Super Value Saver 7 Days (50%)
* Japan Dynamic Value 7 Days (70%)
* Japan Flex 17 Days (70%)
* Japan Flex 1 Month (70%)
* Japan Flex 3 Months (70%)
On cross-referencing this to the QFF JAL page, would I be right in thinking that the following fare classes are likely for the fare types?
* Japan Super Value Saver 7 Days: KLMQSV
* Japan Dynamic Value 7 Days: BH
* Japan Flex 17 Days: BH
* Japan Flex 1 Month: BH
* Japan Flex 3 Months: BH
I'm not too concerned as to exactly which fare bucket is booked, I just want to make sure that I book one that qualifies for QF SCs! In the same style as CX, if the fare on the JAL site shows that it's eligible to earn JMB miles, does that mean it's in one of the fare buckets above?
Many thanks!!
PS: I know that CX also fly on the same route, though JL is a tad cheaper, and I'd like to try them out!
EDIT: Sorry - just found the information that I was looking for... the booking class is shown when you click on the fare type - it was just hard to spot as the text of that window is all over the place!
